Visit the Nike Missile Site on Sandy Hook for a guided tour of this once classified base that controlled nuclear armed guided missiles in defense of the New York metropolitan area. Your tour guides are veterans of the Nike Guided Missile System who will explain the day to day operations of this missile site. These walking tours are free and commence at noon with the last tour started NLT 3:30pm. Total walking distance is approximately 1/4 mile.
